Does Dieting Make You Happy or Not

Some psychologists seem to think otherwise, women who were obese were told to exercise, and eat a sensible diet and were told not to try and lose weight, over the period of a year it was found that the women were in fact healthier but there weight hadn't changed that much. The results found that the women were generally happier and didn't suffer from stress so much.

One of the researchers who led the study said:

"People have a natural diversity of body size."

"
Dieting is not effective long term and can be very dangerous"

"
My take home message is, don't go on a diet, change the way you eat."

The test results after the study had completed showed better heart health lower cholesterol levels, triglycerides better overall respiratory function.

I've wrote about this actually in the past, it would seem it makes far much more sense to just eat healthier rather than keep the diet mantra going instead, all you have to do is focus on the fact that you're just changing the way you eat and ultimately you will lose weight. After all how long can a diet last for two weeks three weeks a month, the best thing to do overall I would say is eat consciously then hopefully you shouldn't have a problem in losing any weight.
